Seventeen-year-old substitute Mared Griffiths scored twice on her debut as holders Manchester United moved into the Women's FA Cup quarter-finals with a 6-0 victory at third-tier Wolves.

United were two up at the break via strikes from Elisabeth Terland in the 26th minute and Leah Galton 10 minutes later.

Aoife Mannion and Ella Toone subsequently added finishes in quick succession early in the second half, before Griffiths took centre stage having come on in the 81st minute.

The young midfielder tapped in with two minutes of normal time remaining after Bec Thomas fumbled a header, and then had another when she beat the goalkeeper with a volley in stoppage time.

Also through to the last eight are Aston Villa, who came from behind to beat Women's Super League rivals Brighton 3-2 at the Bescot Stadium.

The closing stages of the first half saw Nikita Parris put the visitors in front and Anna Patten swiftly equalise.

Villa then moved ahead via Rachel Daly five minutes after the interval and Chastity Grant made it 3-1 five minutes later, with Brighton hitting back through Parris but unable to produce anything further.
