Former Limerick hurler David Breen has been appointed the new first-team physio at Premier League giants Liverpool.
The Na Piarsaigh man was recently involved with the Republic of Ireland men's senior team, and also previously worked with Premiership Rugby side Harlequins, Munster Rugby, Manchester City's academy, Wasps Rugby and in the Leinster Rugby academy.
Breen captained the Treaty County during his playing days, winning a Munster title in 2013.
Three years later, he helped Na Piarsaigh to an All-Ireland club success.
He now moves across the water to take on an exciting new role as part of Arne Slot's back-room staff.
Definitely Liverpool's signing of the season. Fair play @Daithi_Breen 👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/32IP0EdVLK
