While the Republic of Ireland were beaten 2-0 at home to England, France went top of Euro 2025 qualifying League A Group 3 thanks to a 1-0 win in Sweden.
Wendie Renard scored the winner in the 81st minute and French forward Vicki Becho was dismissed deep into stoppage time for a second yellow card.
The French were 1-0 winners over Ireland on Saturday.
The top two teams in each League A group will qualify directly for the tournament in Switzerland, with third and fourth progressing to the play-offs.
In Group 1, Finland bounced back from a defeat by Norway to overcome Italy 2-1 in Helsinki, while the Netherlands beat the Norwegians with Lineth Beerensteyn getting the only goal of the game.
In Group 2 the Czech Republic took a shock 1-0 lead over Spain, but the world champions came roaring back to win 3-1 to top the group on six points after two games ahead of Denmark, who beat Belgium 4-2, on goal difference.
Germany's Lea Schueller struck twice as her side went top of Group 4 thanks to a 3-1 win at home to Iceland, with Austria second in the standings after a 3-1 win away to Poland.
In League B, Northern Ireland earned their first win of Euro 2025 qualifying with a 3-1 victory away to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The second half burst into life with three goals in six minutes before Simone Magill capped off a dominant display for Northern Ireland, who began their campaign with a frustrating goalless draw at home to Malta last week.
Northern Ireland opened the scoring in the 54th minute when Keri Halliday threaded a smart pass through to Lauren Wade, who cut in from the left and tucked the ball into the far bottom corner.
The hosts immediately responded with an equaliser two minutes later when Minela Gacanica crossed in for Marija Milinkovic, who smashed the ball into the centre of the net.
However, the visitors retook the lead on the hour as Bell capitalised on a poor touch from Melisa Hasanbegovic outside the box and lofted the ball over Envera Hasanbegovic.
Magill then extended their lead in the 68th minute with a cool finish into the bottom corner to complete the win.

Sophie Howard's second-half header ended Scotland’s long wait for a competitive win as they kick-started their Women’s Euro 2025 campaign against Slovakia.
Howard headed home Erin Cuthbert’s deep free-kick from close range in the 62nd minute to earn the hosts a 1-0 victory at Hampden.
The result, following Friday’s goalless opener in Serbia, eased the pressure on Pedro Martinez Losa, who had defended his record on the eve of the encounter following eight consecutive competitive matches without victory.
Wales maintained a perfect start to their Euro 2025 qualifying campaign with a comprehensive 6-0 win over Kosovo in Podujevo.
Rachel Rowe and Kayleigh Barton were on target in the first half, with both goals set up by Jess Fishlock making her 150th international appearance and captaining the side.
Rowe added a deflected effort before substitute Ffion Morgan slotted in from close range.
Elise Hughes came off the bench to hit a late double as Wales wrapped up another comfortable victory under new head coach Rhian Wilkinson, following on from beating Croatia 4-0 in Wrexham.
