Updated FA Cup draw: Liverpool and Manchester United set for quarter-final showdown

Liverpool and Manchester United will lock horns in the FA Cup quarter-finals, while holders Manchester City will host Newcastle after the draw for the last eight was made prior to Wednesday's fifth round ties.

Coventry, the lowest-ranked side left in the competition, will look to cause an upset when they travel to the winners of Wolves v Brighton, while Championship leaders Leicester will face either Chelsea or Leeds away.

Liverpool's quest for more domestic silverware following Sunday's Carabao Cup victory will continue away at Old Trafford against Manchester United after the two rivals secured fifth-round victories over Southampton and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Quarter-final ties will be played on St Patrick's weekend, 16-17 March.

Quarter-final draw:

Wolverhampton v Coventry City

Manchester United v Liverpool

Chelsea v Leicester City
