Former Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has left Sevilla following a second spell at the club ahead of his move to Saudi Arabia's Al-Shabab.
The Croatian's contract was set to expire at the end of the campaign.
"We have agreed a deal with Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab Club for the transfer of Ivan Rakitic, who will bring his second spell with us to a close," Sevilla said in a statement.
Rakitic, who first played for the Spanish club from 2011-2014 following a move from Bundesliga side Schalke 04, returned to Sevilla in September 2020 after six years at Barca.
Last year he helped Sevilla win a record-extending seventh Europa League title, after winning his first in 2013-14 during his first spell with the club.
Crystal Palace have boosted Roy Hodgson's options with the addition of right-back Daniel Munoz [above].
Munoz has signed from Genk for an undisclosed fee in a deal until the summer of 2027 with an option to extend his contract by a further year.
The 27-year-old has made 22 appearances for Colombia and spent the last four years with Genk, helping them win the Belgium Cup in 2021.
Vincent Kompany has confirmed Burnley's interest in Montpellier defender Maxime Esteve as the club works to strengthen ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.
The Clarets, battling for survival in the Premier League, signed Chelsea forward David Datro Fofana on loan earlier this month.
And ahead of Wednesday's trip to Kompany's former club Manchester City, the Belgian said: "All I can say is he's [Esteve] not our player at the moment.
"I think we're past the point where I can deny there's been interest, but he's not our player and until then I can't say much more.
"There's moving pieces, I'm not going to deny it, and the recruitment team is putting in a shift to try to see if we can make the team stronger.
"I think there's still a few calls coming in for some of our players as well. So we'll see."
Regarding Burnley being linked with 18-year-old Millwall midfielder Romain Esse, Kompany said "I know he's a good player, but we haven't been active on that one."
Bournemouth winger David Brooks has joined Southampton on loan for the rest of the season.
The two south-coast clubs confirmed the switch, with the Wales international following fast on the heels of Cherries team-mate Joe Rothwell in moving to St Mary's in the current window.
Brooks, 26, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma in 2021 but has since been given the all clear and returned to action for Bournemouth last March.
He has managed just two Premier League starts under Andoni Iraola this season and will now join Saints as they push for an immediate return to the Premier League
