Amir Rrahmani's dramatic last-gasp winner lifted Napoli to a 2-1 victory at the Maradona Stadium and condemned Serie A bottom-dwellers Salernitana to another disappointing defeat.

Antonio Candreva got the visitors off to a hopeful start when he struck in a stunning long-range effort just before the half-hour mark, but it was cancelled out when Matteo Politano converted a spot kick in added time before the break.

The contest looked destined for a draw until the visitors failed to clear a free-kick and Rrahmani pounced, handing his side the win in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Kirian Rodriguez bagged a brace and Juanma Herzog added another in Las Palmas' 3-0 victory over Villarreal, Mallorca and Celta Vigo split the points in a 1-1 draw, and Isco struck in the 76th-minute winner in Real Betis' 1-0 victory over Granada.

Second-placed Nice failed to gain any ground on Ligue 1 leaders Paris St Germain after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Rennes, who secured all three points via Benjamin Bourigeaud's spot kick and Arnaud Kalimuendo firing home for a third consecutive contest.

Reims moved up to fifth place and the Europa League group stage qualifying position with a 3-1 victory over third-placed Monaco.

Teddy Teuma saw his 35th-minute opener cancelled out by Wissam Ben Yedder in the 49th minute, but six minutes later Reda Khadra restored the lead for the visitors and Azor Matusiwa's stoppage-time strike denied Monaco any hope of a draw.
