Manchester United misfit Jadon Sancho has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 23-year-old has been banished from the first team since publicly hitting out at manager Erik ten Hag following the Red Devils' defeat at Arsenal in September.
Sancho has now completed his return to his former club Dortmund on a temporary basis.
The England international spent four seasons with the Bundesliga side from 2017 before joining United, where he had made 82 appearances and scored 12 goals.
It has been reported that Dortmund are contributing an initial €3.5m to take Sancho on loan.
That figure could reach €7.5m dependent on appearances and team success as the winger looks to get his career back on track.
"When I walked into the changing room today, it felt like 'coming home'," said Sancho, who left the Bundesliga side for United in a €85million deal in 2021.
"I know the club inside out, I’ve always been very close to the fans here and I’ve never lost contact with the people in charge.
"I can’t wait to see my team-mates again, get out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, get assists, score goals and help the club qualify for the Champions League."
