Jaden Philogene inspired Hull's Rotherham rout as the Tigers climbed back into the Championship's top six.

The former Aston Villa youngster scored twice as Liam Rosenior's side thumped the Millers 4-1.

England Under-21 team-mate Tyler Morton opened the scoring with Scott Twine also getting on the scoresheet - with Grant Hall grabbing a consolation - as Hull climbed to sixth.

Republic of Ireland forward Aaron Connolly came on in the 73rd minute for the Tigers, alongside Cork-born defender Sean McLoughlin.

West Brom continued their impressive form under Carlos Corberan with a 1-0 win at Cardiff thanks to on-loan Brighton winger Jeremy Sarmiento's second-half strike.

The Baggies have now won five of their last six games and move up to third, seven points behind the automatic promotion spots.

Callum Robinson started up front for Cardiff against his former club, while Ireland team-mate Jayson Molumby entered the fray for West Brom in the second '45.

Isaiah Jones' double helped Middlesbrough ease past fading Preston 4-0.

The winger netted either side of a Rav van den Berg strike before Alex Bangura's injury-time effort wrapped up the win to leave Michael Carrick's side three points outside the top six.

Ireland striker Will Keane was withdrawn by Preston at half-time while Boys in Green midfielder Alan Browne remained on the bench throughout.

Adam Idah started for Norwich at Vicarage Road

Watford hit back from 2-0 down to beat Norwich 3-2 and leapfrog the Canaries in mid-table.

Danny Batth and Hwang Ui-jo gave the visitors a 2-0 lead after just 12 minutes but Ismael Kone and Mileta Rajovic levelled by half-time and Yaser Asprilla grabbed the winner with 13 minutes left.

Adam Idah started for Norwich before coming off on 67 minutes, while Ireland colleague Shane Duffy played the full match at the heart of the Canaries defence.

Haji Wright hit the winner as Coventry beat Plymouth 1-0, with last season's beaten play-off finalists nine points above the relegation zone.

QPR's late show gave them a 4-2 comeback win over 10-man Stoke to leave them three points adrift of safety.

Ben Pearson's own goal and Chris Willock's injury-time strike gave Marti Cifuentes his first win in charge - and Rangers' first victory since September.

Lyndon Dykes' penalty opened the scoring but Ryan Mmaee levelled just before half-time. Ireland left wing-back Enda Stevens was sent off seven minutes after the break for a second yellow card - having already conceded the spot-kick.

Wouter Burger snatched a second-half goal to put Stoke ahead but Dykes struck with 11 minutes left to level before QPR's dramatic finish.

Along with Stevens, Meath native Luke McNally, who is on loan from Burnley, was part of the Stoke back four.
