Republic of Ireland boss Stephen Kenny believes the time has come for Caoimhin Kelleher to leave Liverpool and advance his career elsewhere.
Last month Jurgen Klopp cooled talk of Kelleher moving on when he said: "Caoimh Kelleher? He has a contract. You want us to say goodbye just in case. No, I can't see him leaving. It would have to be an extraordinary offer for me to even start thinking about it, I have to say."
However Kenny admitted on Thursday that he expects the Corkman to depart the Merseyside giants in order to gain regular game time.
"Caoimhin is a very talented goalkeeper," Kenny said at the announcement of his squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 double-header against Greece and Gibraltar.
"It looks like he'll be on the move this summer and he can only benefit [from that]. He needs to play games.
"He's been starved of games this season, it's been a problem for him. It's hard to leave Liverpool, it's such an iconic club, but he's not so young now. He's 24, and he needs to play and he knows that.
"He knew that earlier this season and I think he's been in dialogue with Liverpool about that for a long time. It's most likely it'll happen you would think in the summer.
"I would fully expect [him to move]. He's at the stage where he's behind one of the best goalkeepers in the world. You can't improve by not playing. He knows that. He's known that for a while. I think he's ready to go and play regularly, because he needs to.
"The previous season was a great success for him, winning the [Carabao] Cup, playing in the cup competitions. They were knocked out early this year and there was not so much football for him."

Ireland fly to Turkey on Monday for a nine-day warm-weather training camp ahead of a huge clash against the Greeks on Friday 16 June.
Chiedozie Ogbene has failed to overcome a hamstring injury, while rising Everton talent Tom Canning and left-back Ryan Manning - currently without a club after his Swansea City contract expired - failed to make the cut.
Cannon will instead join the Under-21s for a trip to Austria later this month; they'll base themselves in Burgenland to prep for friendlies against Gabon, Ukraine and Kuwait.
Both players were invited to last week's training camp in Bristol but Cannon missed out with illness while Manning was unavailable due to personal reasons.
"Tom Cannon is not injured. He hasn't trained the last four weeks, he had tonsillitis," Kenny explained.
"He was sick for a period. Hopefully Tom can link up the Under-21s for the games in Austria. It would have been an opportunity if he had come to Bristol to integrate with the group. We like Tom, he's done terrific in the short space of time he's been at Preston. He can link up with the Under-21 team and he'll be on standby for us.
"I selected Ryan in the squad, and Ryan was unavailable for personal reasons. I had a couple of conversations with him. Liam Scales benefited then. He gives us that left foot in a back three."
Reflecting further on the absence of Ogbene, so impressive in March's 1-0 loss to France, Kenny added: "We were always trying with Chiedozie. It's a bad hamstring tear, and he's finished up with his club Rotherham so he's another out-of-contract player.
"We had him in the Mardyke in Cork, he had intensive physio treatment over the last few weeks and we tried to get him right. He came to Bristol and worked with the physios there. It's just too soon for him.
"He's an infectious character, brilliant in the group. He's had a very, very good season for Rotherham. I'm sure he'll get a very good move now off the back of it, and he deserves it."
