All of Friday's games in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division will go ahead after the UCD Bowl pitch passed a second inspection.
Freezing temperatures overnight and widespread frost and icy surfaces had cast doubt on the fixtures proceeding, with the UCD-Drogheda having to survive another check at 5pm, this after an earlier inspection at 3pm
Derry City’s clash with Dundalk was passed this morning, with the Ryan McBride Brandywell surface withstanding the cold snap.
Inspections were called at Richmond Park and Tolka Park at 3pm for the respective meetings of St Pat's Athletic v Bohemians and Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers, at which point the green light was given for both derbies to go ahead.
All of tonight's matches have a 7.45pm kick-off, with Finn Harps v Wexford FC in the First Divison kicking off at 8pm.
There will be a final pitch inspection at 17:00 ahead of @UCDAFC and @DroghedaUnited's clash at the UCD Bowl tonight.
