Cork City and Bohemians' opening night clash at Turner's Cross will be the first live fixture on RTÉ television for the 2023 SSE Airtricity League season.

The upcoming campaign will see an increase to 18 live league games on RTÉ, on top of broadcasts of the FAI Men's Cup semi-finals, final and FAI Women’s Cup final later this year.

The new Premier Division season kicks off on Friday, 17 February with newly-promoted Cork taking on Bohs in a 7.45pm kick-off live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ2 Player.

Reigning FAI Cup winners Derry City's matches against Sligo Rovers and Damien Duff's Shelbourne on St Patrick's Day and 31 March respectively will also be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player, with both matches also slated for 7.45pm kick-offs.
