The dust has settled on another January window - and there was a fair bit of moving and shaking involving Irish players.
The most eye-catching transfer involved Matt Doherty, who has left Tottenham Hotspur for Atletico Madrid.
It's a fascinating switch for the 31-year-old Dubliner. Atletico's powers have dwindled in the last two years - they are currently fourth in La Liga and finished bottom of their Champions League group - but the prospect of working with Diego Simeone remains a tantalising one.
Doherty has only played 44 Premier League games for Spurs since joining from Wolves in 2020. He needs a consistent run at a high level; hopefully he'll get it in Spain.
The same could be said of Michael Obafemi. The talented attacker has been angling for a move from Swansea City to Burnley since the summer. He got his wish at the tail end of the window and with the Clarets looking a certainty to go up from the Championship this year, Obafemi could be operating in the Premier League again by August.
It'll be down to how well he applies himself. Obafemi has gone on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer. His ability is not in question, but Obafemi now needs to show how good he is on a regular basis.
Ireland centre-back Shane Duffy had his loan move from Brighton to Fulham made permanent late on Tuesday.
The decision was reportedly taken to allow the Cottagers to bring in Cedric Soares on loan from Arsenal as they already had the maximum of two players on loan from other Premier League clubs.
The 31-year-old has made only five appearances under Marco Silva and is still likely to become a free agent in the summer.
Brighton chairman Tony Bloom paid tribute to the Derry man on his departure, saying: "He was a key character in our promotion to the Premier League in his first season [2016] here.
"I'd like to thank him for everything and to wish him and his family all the best for the future from everyone association with the club. His contribution to our recent history won't be forgotten."

Luke McNally headed out the door at Burnley as Obafemi was coming in. The former St Pat's centre-half - who also excelled in a short spell with Drogheda United - has left Burnley to go on loan to Coventry City.
He'll share a dressing room with former Cork City forward Sean Maguire who has departed Preston North End for the Sky Blues on loan until the end of the campaign.
Coventry are 15th in the Championship having won just once in their last eight league games.
Preston meanwhile have replaced Maguire with another Irish player, Tom Cannon, who arrives on loan from Everton. Several Championship clubs were keen on the promising 20-year-old striker. Cannon has played with Ireland's U-19s and U-20s, and is likely to be an important part of Jim Crawford's U-21s setup this year.
Adam O'Reilly has permanently left Deepdale however. Having spent last season on loan at St Pat's, he has now agreed a two-year deal with Derry City.
There were a couple of ins and outs at Bournemouth. In came goalkeeper Darren Randolph to compete with compatriot Mark Travers for the No 1 jersey. Randolph had been marooned at West Ham with little hope of getting any game time and on a contract that expires in six months' time. He had to make a move because ex-St Pat's stopper Joseph Anang has returned to the Hammers following a loan spell at Derby. Anang will serve as the club's No 3.
Out went Gavin Kilkenny. He's signed for Charlton Athletic on a loan deal from the Cherries until the end of the season. The Dubliner, who turns 23 today, spent the first half of the season on loan at Stoke City.
Conor Coventry penned a contract extension with West Ham and then immediately went on loan to Rotherham United. He'll team up with in-form Ireland international Chiedozie Ogbene at the Millers.
Ogbene had been the subject of much speculation, with Middlesbrough particularly keen, but a transfer never materialised. He'll be available on a free in the summer.
Aaron Connolly is in desperate need of a career reboot - he might just get it at Hull City. The Galwegian returned from a disappointing loan spell at Serie B outfit Venezia to link up with Liam Rosenior's Tigers. Connolly is still only 23 and on the books at Brighton, but his excellent debut brace in Hull's 3-0 defeat of QPR was a welcome reminder of how good he can be.
Speaking of QPR, they've sent 24-year-old defender Conor Masterson on loan to Gillingham. The former Ireland U-21 player returns to the Gills after spending the second half of last season there. Gillingham are currently second bottom in League Two.
Connor Ronan has embarked on an American adventure, waving goodbye to Wolves to sign on with MLS outfit the Colarado Rapids on a four-year deal.
The 24-year old midfielder made 15 appearances for Wolves and had loan spells at Portsmouth, Grasshopper Club Zürich and, most recently, St Mirren. That was a fruitful spell for Ronan - he was named the club's player of the year - but the chance to play in the States was an enticing one that he understandably seized.
Hours before the window closed, Ireland underage international Ed McJannet completed an interesting move from Luton Town to Serie A side Lecce.
The 19-year-old midfielder will move to the Italian club for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. McJannet has represented Ireland at U-17s, U-18s and U-19s, who he's captained on a number of occasions.
Ireland winger Daryl Horgan has gone to League Two side Stevenage on loan. Horgan, 30, made only 11 League One appearances for Wycombe this season.

London City Lionesses can confirm the departure of the Republic of Ireland international.for
"We're going to miss her deeply in the changing room and on the pitch but we all agree that this is the right move for her."
Ireland forward Rianna Jarrett has left Women's Championship side London City Lionesses by mutual agreement and returned to Wexford Youths.
Jarrett joined London City Lionnesses from Brighton and Hove Albion in July 2021, scoring five goals in 18 appearances, but she's had no luck with injuries, suffering calf, knee and Achilles issues.
Chelsea were very keen on signing Ireland skipper Katie McCabe, reportedly submitting a £250,000 bid to Arsenal for the midfielder. The Gunners knocked it back though, with manager Jonas Eidevall declaring: "Me and Katie have never spoken about her leaving. We only speak about what we can create here at Arsenal. There is absolutely no chance of that move happening."
Meanwhile the League of Ireland lost a few bright talents to England.
Cork City teenager Mark O'Mahony joined Brighton and Hove Albion's large Irish contingent when he went for an undisclosed fee. The 18-year-old attacker made 11 league appearances for the Leesiders last season as they claimed the First Division title. He's signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Seagulls.
Waiting for him at the Amex was 18-year-old Jamie Mullins, who followed in the footsteps of Evan Ferguson by swapping Bohemians for Brighton. Both players went straight into the club's U-21 side. James Furlong temporarily departed Brighton for a loan spell with Motherwell.
Another fledgling talent left Cork City on Monday night. Franco Umeh [above], 18, has joined Crystal Palace after impressing Eagles scouts. The attacker has played for Ireland U-19s and is also eligible for Nigeria. Cork lost goalkeeper David Harrington to League One Fleetwood Town earlier in the window.
There was disappointment for Sligo Rover fans after Aidan Keena, the top scorer in the Premier Division last year, went to League One Cheltenham Town. The undisclosed fee is believed to be a record transfer for the third tier England side, reportedly in the region of €110,000 including add-ons.
UCD midfielder Dylan Duffy has joined Lincoln City, following Danny Mandroiu in making the move to League One side who are managed by Mark Kennedy. The duo played together at Shamrock Rovers, who bid farewell to striker Aidomo Emakhu. He went to Championship outfit Millwall, and has swiftly impressed.
On New Year's Day Stephan Negru officially linked up with Oxford United. The 20-year-old caught their eye having blossomed under Damien Duff's stewardship at Shelbourne. He spent six years at Tolka Park.
Bohs lost Rory Feely to League Two Barrow four weeks ago. The defender penned a contract until the end of the 2023/24 season. And centre-back Ciarán Kelly was snapped up by Mark Hughes' Bradford after leaving the Gypsies as a free agent.
