Chelsea have completed the signing of Noni Madueke as boss Graham Potter prepares to hand a Premier League debut to Mykhailo Mudryk.
England Under-21 winger Madueke has joined from PSV Eindhoven on a seven-and-a-half-year contract for a fee thought to be worth £35m.
Potter was tight-lipped about the former Crystal Palace and Tottenham youth player earlier on Friday but Chelsea confirmed the transfer on social media in the evening.
"I like to get the ball and be exciting, take players on. Beat players, create a lot and score," the 20-year-old Londoner said.
"Best league in the world, best teams, best players. I'm absolutely buzzing to be a Blue."
Meanwhile, Ukraine international Mudryk moved to Stamford Bridge from Shakhtar Donetsk last weekend in an initial £62m (€70.8m) deal and is likely to feature in Saturday's game at Anfield.
The 22-year-old was paraded on the pitch at half-time of Sunday's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace and is pushing to be involved against Liverpool after completing a week of training.
Arsenal have completed the signing of Belgium winger Leandro Trossard from Brighton.
The Gunners said the 28-year-old had signed a long-term contract.
Trossard scored seven times in 16 Premier League matches for the Seagulls this season, but his agent had requested a move after a row with Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said: "It is good work from everyone at the club to complete the signing of Leandro. He is a versatile player with high technical ability, intelligence and a great deal of experience in the Premier League and at international level.
"Leandro strengthens our squad as we head into the second part of the season and we're all looking forward to working with him."
Chris Wood has become Nottingham Forest's 24th signing of the season after joining on loan from Newcastle.
The 31-year-old will spend the rest of the campaign at the City Ground and the move will become a permanent one until the summer of 2024 if certain conditions are met.
He leaves St James' Park after 12 months, having joined from Burnley for £25m (€28.5m) and played a big part in Newcastle's survival.
But he has fallen down the pecking order behind Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak and will get regular action under Steve Cooper at Forest following a long-term injury to Taiwo Awoniyi.
"It's a great feeling and I am very thankful to be here," the New Zealand international said.
"Nottingham Forest is a massive club which I have come up against a number of times, but it's nice now to be able to pull on the red shirt and fight for the club."
Cork City have added Swedish midfielder Albin Winbo to their ranks ahead of the new SSE Airtricity Premier Division campaign.
The 25-year-old joins the Leesiders from Varbergs BoIS. He spent a period last season on loan at Norwegian side Sandefjord.
"I'm really pleased to be joining Cork City," he said. "I've been looking for a new challenge in my career, and I am really looking forward to playing in Ireland.
"I've heard a lot about the club and, when I spoke to the manager, I liked what he had to say. I know this is an exciting time for the club, and I know the club is ambitious to succeed, so I'm looking forward to being a part of this."
City boss Colin Healy is confident the new arrival will have an impact. "He comes in having played regularly in the top division in Sweden, as well as the Norwegian top flight last season," said Healy.
"He is a skilful player, but also well able to deal with the physical side of the game, so we think he will be a good fit."
Leicester have signed Danish full-back Victor Kristiansen from FC Copenhagen for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old left-back, capped at under-21 level by his country, has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal and will join the Foxes subject to international clearance.
Kristiansen told Leicester's website: "It feels amazing. It's really exciting to be here and I'm so excited to meet everyone at the club, as well as the fans.
"The Premier League is probably the best league in the world and Leicester is a top team, so of course I was excited. It was a no-brainer for me to say yes to this great opportunity."
Kristiansen played in all six of Copenhagen's Champions League group stage matches this season, facing Manchester City twice.
He will not be eligible to face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.

West Ham have completed the signing of striker Danny Ings from Aston Villa.
Ings has joined the Hammers for an undisclosed fee, understood to be around £12m (€13.7m), until the summer of 2025.
The 30-year-old is eligible for an immediate debut in Saturday's crunch home meeting with fellow strugglers Everton.
"I'm really excited to join West Ham United," said Ings.
"It's important I settle in as quickly as I can do - and do the important stuff on the pitch for West Ham. I'm really looking forward to getting started."
Manager David Moyes had previously stated he would not be making too many moves in the January transfer window, but acted after his goal-shy side slipped into the relegation zone.
"I'm really pleased to add Danny to the squad," he said. "He is a proven Premier League goalscorer and will add great competition for places in the attacking third."
Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of former Manchester United striker Memphis Depay on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 28-year-old Netherlands international moves from Barcelona, where he had been in the final year of his contract and had fallen down the pecking order this season.
Atleti, who had been looking for attacking reinforcements after Joao Felix's loan move to Chelsea and Matheus Cunha's temporary switch to Wolves, have reportedly paid an initial fee of £2.6m (€3m).
Depay scored 14 goals for Barca after joining them in the summer of 2021 from Lyon. He began his professional career with PSV Eindhoven and also had a 19-month spell at Old Trafford.
