Edinburgh rivals Hibernian and Hearts face yet another Scottish Cup showdown after being drawn together in the fourth round.

The two sides from Scotland's capital have met in the tournament in five of the last seven seasons and will now clash once more at Easter Road in January after the draw for the last 32 was made on Monday night, following Ayr United’s 1-0 third-round win over Pollok.

Holders Rangers will begin their defence of the trophy away to cinch Premiership rivals and 2021 cup winners St Johnstone.

Scottish champions Celtic, who have won the competition a record 40 times, host Morton.

West of Scotland League club Darvel pulled a glamour tie when they were drawn at home to Aberdeen, while Lowland League side University of Stirling face a trip to Dundee United.

Drumchapel United, who pulled off an upset against FC Edinburgh, are away to Elgin, while Motherwell face a potentially hazardous trip to Championship side Arbroath.
