Shamrock Rovers rounded off their title-winning season with a routine 2-0 win at a packed UCD Bowl.
Aaron Greene and Simon Power got the goals as the Hoops, who have now beaten UCD in all of their past 10 meetings, propelled themselves to a club-record tally of 79 points for the season.
Having lifted the league trophy against Derry City last week, Stephen Bradley made a sprinkling of changes to a squad that delivered him European football and a third consecutive SSE Airtricity League title this year.
Sean Hoare - a centre-back by trade - partnered Ukrainian Viktor Serdeniuk in central midfield, while Leon Pohls and 17-year-old Justin Ferizaj also came into the starting 11.
Entering the pitch to a guard of honour and a rapturous ovation from their own fans, Rovers immediately took control.
And it took just six minutes for the Hoops to open the scoring.

Lurking on the edge of the six-yard box, Greene latched onto Ferizaj's cushioned header, before comfortably striking the ball into the bottom right corner.
The away side were ahead – and rarely looked like relinquishing their lead.
UCD's defence, meanwhile, looked fearful, as wing-backs Sean Kavanagh and Ronan Finn launched a barrage of forward runs.
And Greene nearly got a second on the quarter-hour mark, but for Kian Moore, who pushed his headed effort onto the post.
In contention for the player of the season award in a few weeks' time, Rory Gaffney came close 15 minutes later. However, Moore was again on hand to stop his low effort.
Thinking ahead to Friday's crucial promotion/relegation play-off against Waterford, Andy Myler opted to make four changes – including his goalkeeper – at the break.
And, truth be told, this was a better half for the Students, as Tobi Jinad and Johnny Haist did their best to counter-attack into the Shamrock Rovers half.
The latter did have one chance to score with 20 minutes to go, however, his final effort was easily smothered by Pohls.
Again the second half was played at Rovers' pace, but Bradley's forces lacked the clinical edge required to rack up the goals this late in the season.

Charging into the box, Gaffney struck the woodwork mid-way through the half
But it was left to Power to finally wrap up the game - and the season - with his finish seven minutes from time.
Standing on the edge of the box for a corner-kick, the midfielder was well-placed to intercept a short clearance and smack a deflected shot into the back of the net.
