Republic of Ireland midfielder Conor Hourihane netted a brace for Derby County that earned a 2-1 home win over Wycombe in Sky Bet League One.

The Corkman struck twice during the closing stages to take his tally to three goals for the season as the Rams came from behind after Anis Mehmeti had given Wycombe the lead in the 15th minute.

Hourihane has been included in the Ireland squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League games against Scotland and Armenia.

His Boys in Green team-mate Jason Knight, who had filled in at right-back earlier in the season, started in an advanced midfield role for Derby behind ex-Irish international David McGoldrick, while Ireland Under-21 defender Eiran Cashin was part of the back three.

Winger Daryl Horgan was a 78th-minute substitute for Wycombe.

Elsewhere, Ireland Under-21's Dawson Devoy set up a goal as MK Dons won 2-1 at Oxford United.

Matthew Smith gave the Dons the lead just before half-time after ex-Bohemians midfielder Devoy claimed a loose ball before playing him through, with Will Grigg adding a late second from the penalty spot before John Mousinho nodded in an consolation for the hosts.
