Jason Knight and David McGoldrick netted two late goals as Derby defeated Peterborough by two goals to one.

Knight again featured at right-back for the Rams, whilst Conor Hourihane anchored the midfield. Ireland under-21 international Eiran Cashin played at the heart of defence.

McGoldrick replaced fellow Irishman James Collins who came on and got the winner.

Former Ireland U21 midfielder and one-time senior call-up Jack Taylor played in central midfield for the Posh.

Darragh Burns, Dawson Devoy, Warren O'Hora and Conor Grant all started for MK Dons as they thumped Morecambe 4-0. Will Grigg scored his first goals for MK Dons since joining on a free transfer in the summer, whereas 21-year-old Grant got his first goal for his new club.

Dane Scarlett's solitary first-half goal sealed Portsmouth a 1-0 win at Port Vale and sent them top of the Sky Bet League One table.

Scarlett, on loan from Tottenham, turned home Marlon Pack’s low cross in the 25th minute and that was enough to lift Posh into top spot, above Ipswich on goal difference, and extend their unbeaten start to the season.

Sean Raggett and Joe Rafferty helped keep a clean sheet for Pompey.

Fermanagh's Kieran McKenna saw his Ipswich side were twice pegged back by Barnsley in a 2-2 draw at Portman Road.

Former Reds Conor Chaplin and Sam Morsy had the Tractor Boys in front but Barnsley’s equalisers came from first Jack Aitchison and then Callum Styles. Both goals were assisted by U21 international Luca Connell.

Gerard Garner headed a stoppage-time equaliser for Fleetwood, who came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Lincoln.

Teddy Bishop struck twice inside the opening 14 minutes for Lincoln, but Paddy Lane pulled one back before the break and Garner struck in the third minute of added time.

Former Drogheda United loanee and Ireland under-19 international Sean Roughan assisted the second of the Imp's goals.
