Dara O'Shea has signed a new deal at West Brom which will see him stay at the Championship club until the summer of 2025.
The 23-year-old Albion academy product made his first-team debut in 2019 and has gone on to make 66 appearances for the club.
The defender's performances have also earned him 12 international caps for the Republic of Ireland and he cannot wait for the new season to begin.
He told West Brom's website: "I'm excited about the new season and I cannot wait for us to get started. I know I'm not the only one.
"The lads have all worked tirelessly throughout pre-season and now we're counting down the days for the new season to get under way.
"The club has supported me throughout my development, and I will do everything I can this season to repay their trust and belief."

Derry City captain Eoin Toal has completed his move to League One Bolton Wanderers.
The 23-year-old centre back from Armagh native spent six seasons at the Brandywell, and has represented Northern Ireland at underage level.
Derry manager Ruaidhri Higgins wished the defender well: "He has been an absolute pleasure to work with both as a player and a captain. I want to wish him every success at his new club and in his career going forward."
Wanderers’ manager Ian Evatt said: "It's been well documented how in-depth we are with our recruitment process and how we identity position specifics in players and if their attributes fit how we want them to play.
"Eoin ticks all of those boxes. He's a young player with a huge amount of experience – albeit in a different division; captain of a top-division team in Ireland, who has played European football and who has vast attributes we feel we can improve on."
"On behalf of the management, players and staff at Derry City I want to put on record our thanks to Eoin for his service to the club" said the City boss.
"He has been an absolute pleasure to work with both as a player and a captain. I want to wish him every success at his new club and in his career going forward."

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has praised the effort Oleksandr Zinchenko has always shown for his team as the Ukraine international closes in on a move to Arsenal.
Zinchenko is set to join the Gunners, who like City are on a pre-season tour in the United States, with the formalities of the transfer expected to be completed shortly.
A fee of around £32million is reported to have been agreed for the versatile 25-year-old, who can operate at left-back and in midfield.
Ahead of City's pre-season friendly against Club America in Texas, Guardiola revealed Zinchenko would depart with the club's best wishes for the next chapter in his career, as he reunites with his former team-mate Gabriel Jesus in north London.
"On behalf of the club (I would like to express) gratitude for the effort, how they behave on and off the pitch. It was nice with Alex yesterday because we could say goodbye properly," Guardiola said at a press conference.
"Unfortunately with Raheem (Sterling) and Gabriel we could not do it because it was the summertime, but yesterday we could say goodbye to him and (he can) move on to Arsenal."
Zinchenko, joined City during 2016 from Russian side Ufa, will work again with manager Mikel Arteta, who was assistant to Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

Paulo Dybala has signed a three-year deal with Jose Mourinho's Roma after leaving Juventus at the end of his contract.
The Argentinian forward, who won the Serie A title five times and the Coppa Italia on four occasions with Juve, has committed to the capital club until June 30 2025.
"The days that have led up to me signing this contract have been filled with so many emotions," Dybala told asroma.com.
"The speed and determination with which Roma demonstrated just how much they wanted me made all the difference. I am joining a team that is on the up, a club that continues to put in place strong foundations for the future, and a coach, Jose Mourinho, who it will be a privilege to work with."
Rangers defender Calvin Bassey has joined Ajax in a record €26.5m sale for the cinch Premiership club.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Eredivisie champions after the two sides agreed a fee of €23m which could rise to €26.5m.
A statement on the Dutch outfit's official website said: "Ajax has reached an agreement with Rangers and Calvin Bassey for the transfer of the defender to Amsterdam.
"The English-Nigerian player has signed a contract with Ajax that will take effect immediately and will run for five seasons, until June 30 2027."
Bassey, who joined Rangers from Leicester in return for a training compensation fee during the summer of 2020, won the league title and the Scottish Cup during his time at Ibrox and also played a part in last season's run to the Europa League final.
Nottingham Forest have signed Huddersfield duo Harry Toffolo and Lewis O'Brien for an undisclosed fee.
The pair join up with Forest ahead of their Premier League return, for a reported £10 million, after they both enjoyed impressive seasons in the Championship last term.
Left-back Toffolo, who had one year left on his contract with the Terriers, said on the club's official website:
"I'm extremely delighted to be here, to be able to join a football club with this much stature is fantastic and to have the opportunity to play in the Premier League is something I couldn't turn down.
"I'm excited, really looking forward to meeting the lads and we want to push forward in this division. We'll push each other every day and we've got a fantastic squad being put together.
"I'm a player who wears his heart on his sleeve and I'm someone that will fight for the badge and for the team every single minute and now I can't wait to get started."
Toffolo was announced as Forest's eighth summer recruit and 23-year-old midfielder O'Brien quickly became number nine after he agreed a "long-term" contract.
He added: "I'm delighted to join Nottingham Forest at such an exciting time. Having played at the City Ground last season I've experienced the atmosphere and when the opportunity came about to join Forest, it was a no-brainer for me.
"You only have to look at Forest's turnaround last season to see that something special is happening here at the moment, and after my first conversation with Steve Cooper it was obvious we both share the same vision and I'm buzzing to be part of the project.
"The fans turn out in their numbers week after week and they've waited so long for Premier League football. It's now up to myself and the rest of the team to make sure we keep a smile on their faces."
