Bohemians have confirmed that midfielder Dawson Devoy has departed for MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.
Devoy made his debut for the Dalymount Park club in 2019, establishing himself as a regular in 2021, when he won the PFAI Young Player of the Year award.
The 20-year old from Ashbourne shone especially in Bohs' Europa Conference League run, Keith Long's side overcoming Stjarnan and Dudelange before falling short against PAOK in the third qualifying round.
The Republic of Ireland U21 international was close to a move to Milton Keynes during the January transfer window but ultimately decided to remain at Bohemians.
"Last year I had a good season and this time I thought it was best to stay with Bohs as I developed so much," Devoy said at the time.
"There are no better coaches in the country (than Keith Long), so to stay at Bohs was the right decision for me and I'm looking forward to kicking on again this season."
Devoy earned a call-up for Jim Crawford's Ireland U21 side last autumn, featuring in the 1-1 draw in Luxembourg.
He will join fellow Irish players Warren O'Hora and Darragh Burns at the League One outfit.
MK Dons, who last year boasted Spurs loanee Troy Parrott in their ranks, finished third in the League One table, missing out on promotion after losing to Wycombe Wanderers in the playoff semi-final.
