A big doubt hangs over the fitness of Michael Obafemi ahead of Ireland's Nations League clash against Ukraine in Lodz.
The Swansea City striker proved instrumental in the impressive victory over Scotland on Saturday, setting up Troy Parrott for Ireland’s second goal, before hitting a wondergoal in the second half to wrap up the victory.
Obafemi was taken off straight after that goal at the Aviva and it appears that the substitution was not just precautionary, but rather as result of a groin injury.
The striker also sat out the start of the pre-match training session at the stadium in Lodz, which seems to imply that if he does feature it will be the capacity of an impact substitution.
"We think that Michael will miss out with his groin injury," said Kenny, speaking at the pre-match press conference.
But even with all the changes that are set to come in the fourth game in quick succession – Shane Duffy is suspended and John Egan has returned home awaiting the birth of his child – the manager did not appear overly concerned as he feels that the players coming into the starting eleven will not weaken the side.
And Kenny seemed boosted by the fact that Chiedozie Ogbene looks set to be available for selection after recovering from an impact injury - the Rotherham man was put through his paces away from the squad early in this evening's training session.
"We are hopeful that Chiedozie can rejoin the squad as his was an impact injury in the game last week against Ukraine," said Kenny.
"It has been quite sore and painful but we are hopeful that he can rejoin tonight in training.
"We will have several enforced changes, but certainly the spirit is good in the group. Obviously, we will have to be at our best tomorrow night and we know this."
"We are not unduly concerned because this is why we have been blooding players to give us this level of depth. I feel that anybody coming in will not necessarily weaken us.
"We have a strong squad and we have the capacity to deal with this. So it is a big challenge for us nonetheless, but one that we are not fearful of."

Looking ahead to the game, the manager feels that the players can take confidence from the performance against Scotland as they look to match up to a quality Ukraine side.
"It's certainly a big challenge," said Kenny, when asked how his side will back up the win on Saturday with another strong performance.
"Ukraine have had some terrific results and they have shown their immense quality. They have that depth in their squad as they showed when they played us last week.
"They will bring back some of their main players tomorrow so we know that we are against it and have to put in a really, really strong performance. The players can take confidence from Saturday."
And while there appeared to be a real emphasis on getting the ball back once out of position in the Scotland game, Kenny said that the team are improving in that aspect of their play, and felt that the referee in the Scotland game aided his side in that department.
"I think consistently we have really improved out of possession over the number of months, even going back to Portugal away and Portugal at home particularly," said Kenny.
"The first 20, 25 minutes against Ukraine, we put incredible pressure on them whether it was in or out of possession. That's the work rate of the players.
"Ukraine worked their way into the game and they are excellent, I must say, at retaining possession. They are all technically proficient. They make you work for the ball.
"I wouldn't say our out of possession plan was better than other games but the referee allowing the game flow really helped us on Sunday.
"The difference between the referee [against Ukraine] and the referee [against Scotland] was night and day. It was a different sport nearly.
"He allowed the game to flow and he allowed players to tackle. That was certainly helpful."
