Oisin McEntee remains the only injury concern for Republic of Ireland Under-21 manager Jim Crawford heading into Tuesday's group finale away to Italy (live on RTÉ2, 4.30pm kick-off).

The Boys in Green are already guaranteed a place in the play-offs, but they can seal qualification for a first-ever appearance at a European Championships with a win in Ascoli over the current group leaders.

Walsall’s McEntee was replaced shortly after half-time in the 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina last week with a shoulder injury and is in a race to prove his fitness.

Ireland are two points off group leaders Italy heading for the final game, where a draw or a defeat means Crawford's team can start preparing for September's play-offs.

Romania and Georgia will co-host the tournament next year.

The game will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player where Joanne Cantwell will be joined in studio by Richie Sadlier.
