The Dublin derby clash between bitter rivals Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians at Tallaght Stadium will be screened live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player on Friday 24 June.

It will be their third meeting of the season, the Hoops having won both previous encounters, 1-0 at home and then 3-1 in Dalymount last month.

Shamrock Rovers are gunning for a third title in a row and recently returned to the top of the table with a 1-0 win in the televised clash against in-form Derry City.

Bohemians, last season's Cup finalists, have endured a frustrating start of the season, with a succession of draws and the concession of late goals impeding progress. However, if they can restore momentum, a European spot is a very plausible target.

The match will be the first match to be screened after the mid-season break with more live TV fixtures set to be announced in the second-half of the campaign.
