UCD and Derry City's recently postponed SSE Airtricity League fixture has been rescheduled for early April.

The Premier Division match which had been due to take place on Friday, 11 March was called off prior to kick-off due to a waterlogged pitch at the Students' Belfield home ground following persistent rain throughout the capital.

It has now been rescheduled for Monday, 4 April. Both teams will be in action three days earlier when the Premier Division resumes after the international break. Bottom side UCD visit Dundalk on Friday, 1 April, with current league leaders Derry at Bohemians on the same night.

Derry City's Friday, 8 April match at North-West derby rivals Finn Harps has also been rescheduled to Saturday, 9 April with kick-off at 5.30pm, while UCD's home match against Bohemians on Friday, 8 July has now been moved a day early to the Thursday.

The other top flight fixture change sees Sligo Rovers and Shelbourne's Saturday, 2 April clash moved a day earlier to the Friday.

In the First Division, the postponed fixture between Treaty United and Longford Town which had also been due to kick off on 11 March, will now be played on Monday, 16 May.

Galway United and Wexford's match at Eamonn Deacy Park on 8 April has also been re-fixed for 9 April.
