Treaty & Wexford pitches unplayable in WNL

The SSE Airtricity Women's National League fixtures between Treaty United and Cork City, and Wexford Youths and Shelbourne have been postponed due to a waterlogged pitches.

The Treaty United match had been due to kick-off at 5pm today at the Markets Field in Limerick, however, it will now be rescheduled, as the league confirmed the game was deemed "unplayable".

Meanwhile, a Wexford Youths statement said that "following a second pitch inspection, the pitch has been deemed unplayable and a new date for the fixture will be announced in due course".

The remaining games see Bohemians host Athlone Town and last season's runners-up Peamount United are away to Galway WFC at the same time.

WNL newcomers Sligo Rovers' home game against DLR Waves is the early kick-off at 2pm at The Showgrounds.
