Bohemians have confirmed the signing of midfielder Jordan Flores from English League two side Northampton Town.

"Bohemians can confirm the signing of Jordan Flores on a multi-year contract," the Dublin club said.

The Wigan native has previous League of Ireland experience having played for Dundalk in the 2019 and 2020 seasons - receiving a Puskas nomination for a sensational volley away to Shamrock Rovers in February 2020.

Since then, he has represented Hull City before moving to Northampton in June 2022 on a loan deal that was made permanent last August.

Flores made 14 appearances for the Cobblers but hasn't started a game since their clash with Bristol Rovers last November.

"Jordan has the opportunity to find himself another club and we wish him well," said Northampton manager Jon Brady.

First Division Cork City have announced the signing of Matt Healy, on loan from Ipswich Town until June.

Speaking to CorkCityFC.ie, the young midfielder said: "I'm delighted to be joining Cork City and I am looking forward to working hard.

"I’ve been training with the lads since the start of pre-season and I have really enjoyed it. I have been made to feel very welcome and it is a really good environment to be in. My aim is to try and get myself a place in the team and play as many minutes as possible."
