Dawson Devoy is subject of interest from MK Dons, with a deal for the promising playmaker in the offing.

Devoy is seen at the Milton Keynes club as a potential replacement for Matt O'Riley.

A target for Swansea and Blackburn, the 21-year-old O'Riley is heading to Glasgow for a medical after a personal intervention from Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.

The news is a potentially crushing blow to Bohs, who missed out on European qualification last season, though their disappointment is tempered by the 20-year-old having signed a new deal last year.

Were Bohs to lose Devoy, it would be the latest in a series of key departures. Ross Tierney joined Motherwell in the off-season while another attacking player, Georgie Kelly, has said that he is likely to leave also.

Influential captain Keith Buckley has also departed.

Devoy earned many plaudits when playing for Bohs in the Europa Conference League last season with his excellent performances at the Aviva Stadium suggesting he would go on to play at a higher level.

He has been capped by Ireland at the Under-21 age group.

League One MK Dons are already of keen interest to fans of the Irish international team as they have both Troy Parrott and under-21 star Conor Coventry on loan, the latter having recently joined from West Ham.
