The Republic of Ireland Under-19 side face a very difficult challenge to qualify for the European Championships after being paired with England and Portugal in the Elite Phase.
Armenia are the fourth side in Group 3.
The winner of the four-team group will qualify for the finals in Slovakia next October.
Ireland were third seeds but the draw was not kind to Tom Mohan's side.
The Irish team reached this stage with two wins in the first qualifying round.
The Eilte Phase matches will take place in March.
Ireland Under-19 manager Tom Mohan said: "For you to play at the European Championships you have play against the top nations and this is a challenge we will embrace.
"It's an opportunity for our players to test themselves against difficult opposition and the prize at the end of it is playing for your country at a European Championship.
"They will be three tough games, Portugal and England are always tough and then you have Armenia who qualified ahead of Scotland in their group.
"I'm looking forward to it."
Meanwhile the Irish Under-17 side will face Norway, Belarus and Armenia in their opening qualifying round next summer and autumn.
