Wexford Youths' starlet Ellen Molloy is among a quartet of players to be given a pre-FAI Cup final boost after being named in Vera Pauw's Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier double header.

Molloy, 17, shone for the Ireland Under-19s during their European Championships qualifying round games last month and, midweek, was nominated for the Women's National League Young Player of the Year award.

She got her first senior call-up in August 2020 and comes back into the fold for the Group A games against Slovakia (Thursday 25 November) and Georgia Tuesday (30 November). Both clashes will be screened live on RTÉ television.

Molloy, her Wexford Youths team-mate Aoibheann Clancy and Shelbourne pair Ciara Grant and Saoirse Noonan will all link up with the panel after Sunday's cup final.

Ruesha Littlejohn and Kyra Carusa are available again following injuries and will join the rest of the Ireland squad at Tallaght Stadium to watch the decider.
