Adam Idah and James McClean return to the Ireland team for tonight's World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg.

The Norwich striker replaces Jamie McGrath in attack, while McClean also comes into the side in place of Enda Stevens.

Andrew Omobamidele was passed fit to play, however, Stephen Kenny has opted for the same three-man defence that secured an impressive scoreless draw with Portugal on Thursday night.

Kenny looks to be playing with a three-man forward unit with Idah playing alongside Callum Robinson and Chiedozie Ogbene, while Jeff Hendrick and Josh Cullen line out in the middle of the park.

Matt Doherty resumes in the right wing-back position, while Gavin Bazunu remains between the sticks for the final qualifier at the Stade de Luxembourg.

Luxembourg make just the one change from the side that beat Azerbaijan 3-1 in Baku on Thursday as Vahid Selimovic replaces the suspended Dirk Carlson.
