Manchester United defender Raphael Varane is expected to be sidelined for up to a month with a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old was forced off in the first half of Tuesday's Champions League draw at Atalanta.
Varane had only returned to the United side in Saturday’s victory over Tottenham after a lay-off following a groin problem sustained while playing for France in the UEFA Nations League final.
Manchester United confirmed "Raphael sustained a hamstring injury, which is expected to keep him out of action for around a month".
Varane will miss Saturday’s Manchester derby before another international break, after which Manchester United travel to Watford, Villarreal and Chelsea before the end of November.
A summer signing from Real Madrid, Varane has made nine appearances for United this season.
