Republic of Ireland U-21s manager Jim Crawford has named a 25-man squad for the European Championship qualifiers against Italy and Sweden, with a first call-up for West Ham United's Armstrong Oko-Flex.
Already capped at U-19 level, Oko-Flex joined the Hammers from Celtic, for whom he made two senior appearances earlier this year.
The 19-year-old Dubliner started his career with St Kevin's Boys, before moving to Arsenal in 2017.
Southampton’s Will Smallbone and Derby County’s Festy Ebosele return to the squad following injury.
Ireland take on Italy at Tallaght Stadium on Friday, 12 November (kick-off 5.30pm), before hosting Sweden (kick-off 7pm) four days later at the same venue.
Both matches will be broadcast live on RTÉ2 and the RTÉ Player.
Crawford's side began their campaign with a 2-0 win at home against Luxembourg. That was followed by a 2-1 loss away to Montenegro.
