Due to a power issue at the RSC, the SSE Airtricity Premier Division clash between Waterford and Derry City has been pushed back 24 hours and will now take place on Tuesday next.

Waterford had informed the FAI on Friday about a major electrical problem at the RSC. This had put Monday's scheduled fixture with the Candystripes in doubt, with this evening's news now confirming that the game will take place on Tuesday, kick-off 6.15pm.

Marc Bircham's side are currently a point clear of Finn Harps in the race to avoid the a relegation play-off date against First Division opposition in the latter half of November.

Derry City, on the other hand, remain in the mix for European football. They currently occupy fourth spot in the table.
