Republic of Ireland full-back Matt Doherty will miss Tottenham's UEFA Europa Conference League game with Vitesse Arnhem due to injury.
Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo revealed that the 10 outfield players who played in Sunday's win at Newcastle would be unavailable for the midweek fixture with the north Londoners visiting West Ham in a derby this Sunday and Nuno is keeping his main men in England to train.
However, Doherty was not part of the matchday squad against Newcastle having been withdrawn at half-time during Ireland's 4-0 win over Qatar last Tuesday after picking up a knock and, along with fellow full-back Ryan Sessegnon, will not feature on Thursday in the Netherlands.
"Matt's improving. Sess also but they're not in the group yet. Next week, we'll see if we have good news," said Nuno.
He added in his pre-match press conference: "We worked today, we prepare the game with the players that are going to start tomorrow.
"Then we had a good training session with players that are going to stay. They're going to work tomorrow and then we'll join all the group on Friday."
