Harry Arter has sealed a loan return to boyhood club Charlton Athletic for the remainder of the season.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder, who is in the Boys In Green squad for the upcoming triple header of World Cup qualifiers against Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia, had been at Nottingham Forest in the Championship for the last year.
But the former Bournemouth, Fulham and Cardiff City player will spend the remainder of the campaign at Charlton when he returns from international duty.
London-born Arter was part of Charlton's youth academy from the age of seven but made just one League Cup appearance for the club before joining non-league Woking in 2009.
"It's great for me to come back to the club where it all started as a young boy and see some of the faces, such as (academy manager) Steve Avory, who have played such a big part in my football development," Arter told the club website.
"It will be great to come back and hopefully help the club progress and do well."
Charlton manager Nigel Adkins added: "I am delighted to welcome Harry back to Charlton Athletic and I am looking forward to working with him."
