Jim Crawford has handed maiden Republic of Ireland Under-21 call-ups to six players including Brighton's Evan Ferguson for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Luxembourg.
The Ireland U21 head coach has selected a squad of 24 with 16-year-old Ferguson included days after making his Brighton first-team debut in the Carabao Cup.
The former Bohemians forward is also joined in the squad by 17-year-old Seagulls team-mate Andrew Moran who also made his senior club debut in the League Cup fixture against Cardiff City.
Fulham forward Ollie O'Neill and Wolfsburg defender Anselmo Garcia MacNulty, who trained with Crawford's squad in July, also earn their first U21 calls.
Crystal Palace's Jake O’Brien, formerly of Cork City, and English-born Cardiff City's Joel Bagan are also involved in an Irish squad for the first time.
Bohemians duo Dawson Devoy and Ross Tierney have also been recalled to the squad after being included earlier in the summer, along with club colleague Andy Lyons.
Getafe's John Joe Patrick Finn Benoa will link up with the squad for training during the international break.
The Boys In Green face Bosnia in Zenica on Friday, 3 September before another trip to take on Luxembourg on Tuesday, 7 September at Stade Jos Nosbaum, Dudelange.
