Troy Parrott scored his second goal in two games for MK Dons in League One on Tuesday night, while Gavin Bazunu's late heroics ensured another clean sheet and that Portsmouth took three points.

Tottenham attacker Parrott has had a nomadic existence over the last 12 months, moving on loan to Millwall, Ipswich and now MK Dons but he's made a good start to life at Stadium MK.

His team had to come from behind to beat Charlton 2-1 after Jayden Stockley had nodded the visitors in front before Parrott slotted in the equaliser and then brilliantly teed up Mo Eisa to bag the winner just after the hour mark.

Ryan Tunnicliffe struck the winner for Portsmouth who climbed to the top of the League One table with a 1-0 victory over Shrewsbury at Fratton Park but that win only came thanks to a brilliant late Bazunu save. The Republic of Ireland keeper clawed away Aaron Pierre's downward header in stoppage time.

Portsmouth have now started a season with three wins from three for only the second time in 33 years.

Elsewhere former St Pat's and Drogheda United defender Luke McNally started for Oxford in their 1-0 defeat of Crewe which came thanks to a James Henry penalty.
