Norwich City have announced the signing of Greece winger Christos Tzolis from PAOK on a five-year contract.
The 19-year-old, who moves for an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of €12 million, registered 16 goals and 10 assists across 46 appearances in all competitions for PAOK last season.
He featured as a substitute last week against Bohemians in the Aviva Stadium as the Gypsies recorded a famous win ahead of tonight's second leg.
Tzolis told Norwich's official website: "I would like to thank everyone for the very good welcome. I'm very happy to be a part of this team and I hope to see the fans as fast as possible.
"I spoke with the coach (Daniel Farke) and he told me the plan and what he will do with me in the team. It's a very good project for me to sign here.
"From the first moment, I was really excited to come here. I said to my agent to sign as fast as possible here. It's a very good step for me.
"(Last year) was my first professional season. I had good stats and we won the cup in Greece. It was a very good season for me and I hope to continue like this here in the Premier League."
Farke said of Tzolis, holder of eight senior Greece caps: "We are all delighted with this signing. There was a lot of interest in Christos from some of the biggest teams in Europe.
"In his age group, Christos is probably one of the most exciting offensive players across European football. He's a young winger with lots of pace and potential.
"He's in a good physical condition and has been there delivering with many goals and assists for a big club in Greece in PAOK.
"Of course, we will give him the time to improve and adapt to English football, but we have a player with a lot of potential and a great personality."
Meanwhile, Joe Willock is expected to head to the north-east to undergo a medical after a breakthrough in talks over his personal terms with Newcastle.
It is understood that a deal is in place in principle after lengthy talks, which began after the Magpies agreed a fee in the region of £25m with Arsenal over the weekend.
Club officials will now attempt to push the transfer through ahead of Friday's noon deadline to allow the 21-year-old to be available for Sunday’s Premier League opener against West Ham.
A successful conclusion would bring an end to a lengthy pursuit of a man who impressed during a loan spell, finding the back of the net seven times in his last seven appearances to help ease the Magpies to top-flight safety, and whose future has been a topic of debate for much of the summer.
Asked about the situation at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta said: "The situation is that he is our player. We had some conversations. It is not only about what we want to do.
"What he has done is put himself in a strong position where he can choose what his future could look like. That is what we’re trying to define right now."
Pressed on whether he thinks Willock will be at Arsenal come the end of the transfer window, Arteta said: "I do not know."
Newcastle head coach Steve Bruce has made little secret of his desire to bring the midfielder back to Tyneside and finally kick-start a summer recruitment drive which to date has proved frustrating.
Just days before the start of the new campaign, Newcastle are yet to make a single signing, while the likes of Yoshinori Muto and Florian Lejeune have left the club.

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl expects defender Jannik Vestergaard to complete the formalities of his move to Leicester ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Foxes have moved for Denmark international Vestergaard, 29, after Wesley Fofana suffered a fractured fibula during a friendly against Villarreal.
A reported £15m deal has been agreed for Vestergaard, who was in the final year of his contract with the Saints having joined from Borussia Monchengladbach during July 2018.
"He (Vestergaard) is doing the medicals check, and when that is done, then the deal is done," Hasenhuttl said as he prepared for Saturday's trip to Everton.
"He will go to Leicester, then it is for us to replace him and this is what we will do in the future."
Hasenhuttl, who also saw striker Danny Ings join Aston Villa, added: "We have lost Jannik now, so in the centre-back position we are not super strong with the numbers, but the rest of the squad seems to be quite balanced."
