Peamount United returned to the top of the Women's National League table on goals scored after Aine O'Gorman's brace secured a 2-0 home victory over Bohemians.

The Republic of Ireland international gave the reigning double winners the lead eight minutes before half-time, before adding another with 11 minutes to go as the home side bounced back from last weekend's 4-3 defeat to title rivals Shelbourne.

The result means Peamount go top of the table above Shelbourne on goals scored, with the sides level on goal difference and points after 11 games.

Third-placed Wexford Youths kept up the chase at the top of the table with a 3-1 win at Athlone Town.

Four-time Ireland cap Ellen Molloy scored twice for the visitors either side of an Athlone equaliser to make it seven for the season, while Ciara Rossiter added a third late on.
