Troy Parrott has been handed a starting role as Stephen Kenny's side take on Andorra at the Estadi Nacional, kick-off 5pm.

The Tottenham prospect will line out up front alongside new Cardiff City signing James Collins, who will lead the line, and Portsmouth's Ronan Curtis.

The manager, who is looking for his first win since taking over the international role has named a very attack-minded starting XI and has reverted to a four-man defence with John Egan returning to the central role alongside Dara O'Shea.

Matt Doherty and James McClean will fill the full-back roles, while Josh Cullen, Jason Knight and Conor Hourihane will play in the middle of the park.

Gavin Bazunu retains his place in goal, having started the last two games, with Liverpool's Caoimhin Kelleher on the bench alongside fellow goalkeeper Mark Travers.

Ireland: Gavin Bazunu; Matt Doherty, Dara O'Shea, John Egan, James McClean; Josh Cullen, Jason Knight, Conor Hourihane; Ronan Curtis, Troy Parrott, James Collins.
