Dublin's eight-time All-Ireland SFC winner Philly McMahon has joined Bohemians' back-room set-up a first-team performance coach.

McMahon had a spell as the strength and conditioning coach at Shamrock Rovers back in 2012 when Trevor Croly was at the helm. Croly is now the assistant coach at Bohs.

The 33-year-old owns the BeDo7 Fitness Club business and is co-owner of NutriQuick, a ready-made healthy food service.

In a statement released on social media, the Gypsies said: "Bohemians can confirm that Dublin footballer Philly McMahon has joined the club as first-team performance coach.

"We are delighted to have him on board, we welcome Philly to Dalymount Park and we wish him the best of luck in his role with our backroom team."
