Stephen Bradley heaped praise on his Shamrock Rovers players for the "special achievement" of breaking the League of Ireland record of 30 games unbeaten.
His Hoops side beat Waterford 3-0 at Tallaght Stadium to seal the feat and left them sitting atop the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division table on 23 points as they go in search of a second league title in a row.
"I'm delighted for the players. It's a special achievement, it hasn't been done before and there's a reason for that," Bradley told RTÉ Sport.

"It's an unbelievable run that they're on and like I said, all credit to the players. Every week they show up and are professional and approach each game in the right manner. It's an incredible record."
Rovers have injury concerns after Monday's win with Aaron Greene and the returning Neil Farrugia both forced off during the game, the latter with a possible recurrence of a hamstring issue.
"It was a really poor tackle on Aaron and we need to check on him tomorrow and Wednesday and see how it is and how is settles down. But it was a really poor tackle," Bradley said, adding that he was "really annoyed" by the challenge on his forward.

"With Neil, we have to be really patient since the '21s. We got him back on and he was doing okay and then he felt the same spot again.
"We'll have to assess it in the morning and hopefully it was a just a little nerve twitch. Hopefully it's nothing major but we don't know until tomorrow."
Waterford manager Kevin Sheedy felt his side's display was their least impressive of the campaign so far, albeit against strong opponents.
"It was probably our poorest performance of the season," he said.
"When we were in possession of the ball, we didn't really create any chances apart from a couple of free-kicks.
"So we didn't look threatening which we have done in all the games this season. So that was the biggest disappointment. But the players put the effort in and they always have, against a very good Shamrock Rovers team.
"They played some good football and it was a bit of a lesson for us. We want to achieve and try and play football like that. We're getting there."
On his matchday squad, with nine players out, Sheedy added that his side were "down to the bare bones" and had just two out-field substitutes available after one potential option failed a late fitness test.
"It's really tough at the moment but we're seeing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel," he said.
"We've got some of the players hopefully coming back to training this week. We could have done with resting some of the players after the efforts against Dundalk but we had to pick the same team due to numbers."
