Valencia have sacked head coach Javi Gracia following Sunday's 3-2 defeat by Barcelona.
Los Che have won just three points from their last six league games and sit 14th in LaLiga, only six points clear of the relegation zone, with four matches remaining.
A club statement read: "Valencia CF have informed Javi Gracia of his dismissal as coach of the first team, as of Monday.
"The club would like to publicly thank him for his work and dedication during his time coaching the team, and wish him the best of success for the future.
"Salvador Gonzalez 'Voro' will take charge of the first team on an interim basis."
Gracia was appointed at the Mestalla in July last year having previously managed Watford, who he guided to the 2019 FA Cup final.
