Treaty United 0-3 Peamount United
The League table shows that they are rooted to the bottom but Treaty United made the leaders work for this victory as they defended brilliantly for long periods.
While Michaela Mitchell was needed to be on full alert between the posts for the home team, it was Peamount goalkeeper Naoisha McAloon who had to pull off a big save to deny Aoife Horgan early on.

Peamount break the deadlock with a corner routine from straight off the training ground!@TreatyUnitedFC 0-1 @peamountutd pic.twitter.com/ItnjuUmGCn
Frustrated at not being able to break through, Peamount mixed up their approach and eventually got their goal through a long-range strike from Sadhbh Doyle following a short corner.
Two quick goals from Áine O'Gorman and Eleanor Ryan-Doyle put the champions in command, even though Jemma Slattery went close for Treaty who can take a lot of positives from their overall display.
Athlone Town 2-2 Cork City
Persistence pays off, as Athlone are beginning to learn after picking up their second point of the season by twice scrapping their way back into this duel.
Becky Cassin put Cork into the lead early on and they were cruising until the home team were awarded a penalty that Emma Donohoe converted.

Dring puts Cork back in front with a tidy finish - but how about that for an assist?!@AfcAthlone 1-2 @CorkCityFCWomen #WNL | #LOITV pic.twitter.com/MJKnhJPqwP
Cork rallied again and scored a superb goal when Christina Dring ran through to apply the finish on 61 minutes. And that looked to be enough for them to earn a win.
But Athlone kept on going and Melissa O'Kane pulled them level when scoring from close range after the Cork keeper Abby McCarthy spilled the ball under pressure.
Wexford Youths 5-0 Galway WFC
After a slow start, Wexford found their rhythm in this game and never allowed Galway to settle. In fact the only thing that the visitors were able to secure was a ton of bad luck.
It all started when Shauna Fox put the ball into her own net on 38 minutes and it pretty much ended when Wexford were able to rotate their goalkeeper confident that the game was as good as over by the 75th minute.

Oh no, she's done it again! Another wonder goal from the Wexford ace 👌#WNL | #LOITV pic.twitter.com/LJwFsd4JvE
In between then, Lynn-Marie Grant, Sinead Taylor, Ellen Molloy and Aisling Frawley all found the back of the net - with Molloy again scoring a superb goal.
To make matters worse for Galway, Therese Kinnevey was sent off in the second half. This was a day to forget for them, but Wexford will use it to further build their confidence.
Shelbourne 2-1 DLR Waves
The best moment of this game came when the contest was pretty much decided as Shelbourne were already two up when Carla McManus fired in from 35 yards out.

Carla McManus found the back of the net from 35-yards out in this afternoon's game versus Shelbourne 🚀@shelsfc 2-1 @DLRWaves #WNL | #LOITV pic.twitter.com/FWvij4FHsi
DLR did attempt to spring forward on the back of that goal to snatch a draw but it wasn't to be for Graham Kelly's side as Shels did just enough to claim the three points.
There wasn't much between the two teams at all. In fact, it took a special goal from Emily Whelan to break the deadlock when she latched onto a clever pass from Jessica Ziu.

Noelle Murray then increased their lead from the penalty spot before McManus blasted in that Goal of the Season contender. The Reds came out on top in this entertaining Dublin derby.
