Matt Doherty and Enda Stevens have withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad to play Qatar because of injury, as once again Stephen Kenny has seen his selection options decrease on the eve of a game.
Doherty came off at half-time in the 1-0 defeat against Luxembourg whilst Stevens was assessed post-match and it was determined he would not travel with the squad to Hungary.
The Tottenham Hotspur man played on the right wing at the Aviva Stadium, while Stevens is the first-choice left-back.
The squad travelled to Debrecen last night for the international friendly against Qatar on Tuesday.
Kenny has been beset by absenteeism since taking over as manager.
He has yet to win in 10 games as manager.
