Graham Burke has signed a three-year contract with Shamrock Rovers which will activate when his current Preston North End deal runs out in May. 

The new permanent deal with keep Burke at the club until 2024. 

The 27-year-old striker re-joined the Hoops on loan from Preston in the summer of 2019, notching eight goals from 14 league appearances last season as the Tallaght club regained the Premier Division title after a nine year wait. 

In his previous spell at Shamrock Rovers in 2017 and 2018, Burke scored 23 goals in 49 appearances, earning international honours and a move to Deepdale. He also spent part of the 2018-19 season on loan at Gillingham.

He scored his first international goal in the 2-1 friendly win over USA in June 2018. 

Since re-joining Shamrock Rovers, he has won an FAI Cup medal in 2019 and the Premier Division title in 2020.
