Waterford have made the impressive signing of Cameron Evans on loan from Swansea City for the 2021 campaign.

Evans played first-team football with the Swans last month in the FA Cup and is a Welsh Under-19 international.

He is a product of the Swansea academy having grown up in the Liberty Stadium area.

Evans played 72 minutes in the win over Stevenage in the FA Cup.

Blues boss Kevin Sheedy said: "We're delighted to have him here. He's someone that has stood out to myself and Mike Newell, he’s got bags of talent and has the potential to make a big impact here.

"He’s played first-team football for his home club having grafted his way up from the academy.

"He has everything in his locker to make a huge impact over here so we’re really looking forward to see what he can bring to this squad."
