Northern Ireland have announced an extra friendly fixture against Estonia in September.

Ian Baraclough's side are already scheduled to play Lithuania away in a 2022 World Cup qualifier on 2 September and will now face Estonia in Tallinn on 5 September.

The friendly against Estonia at the A Le Coq Arena will form part of the team's preparations for their World Cup qualifier against Switzerland in Belfast on 8 September.

Northern Ireland faced Estonia twice in their European Championship qualifying group, winning 2-0 at home and 2-1 in Tallinn in 2019.

Baraclough's side are scheduled to return to action next month when they take on European qualifying Group C rivals Italy in Parma, on 25 March and Bulgaria at Windsor Park on 31 March.
