Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend are being investigated over an alleged skiing trip which may have broken coronavirus restrictions, according to reports in Italy.
The Portugal and Juventus forward and partner Georgina Rodriguez allegedly spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Courmayeur, near the northern city of Aosta.
Trips to the region are not allowed as it is in a Covid-19 medium-to-high risk orange zone, unless those travelling have a second home there.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star may be facing a hefty fine, police sources are reported to have said.
Ronaldo, 35, has scored 15 goals in 15 matches for Juve this season and should be in the side to face Sampdoria on Saturday.
