Bohemians have signed former France underage international Bastien Héry from Linfield.

The 28-year-old midfielder, who began his career with Paris Saint-Germain, spent five years in England before spells with Limerick and Waterford in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Héry joined Linfield in the summer of 2019 and helped them win the Irish Premiership in his debut season.

"Bastien is a high-quality player with great experience, ability and personality," said Bohemians manager Keith Long.

"We are a young team and I believe these are some of the attributes we need to help us progress."

Héry won the Irish Premiership with Linfield last season

Héry played for France at U18 level but switched allegiance to Madagascar, who he qualifies for through his grandmother. He made his debut in October and has won three caps.

Héry becomes Bohs' second signing this week, with winger Stephen Mallon completing his move from Sheffield United on Tuesday.
