Southampton's match at home to Shrewsbury Town in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup has been rescheduled for Tuesday next.
The tie was initially due to be played last Saturday, but was postponed by the Football Association after a number of positive Covid-19 tests at the League One club.
Following discussions since then, it has been agreed the fixture will take place next Tuesday 19 January, with kick-off at 8pm.
This also means that Saints’ scheduled visit to Leeds United for a Premier League on the following evening will be moved as a result. A new date will be confirmed in due course.
The winner of the Southampton-Shrewsbury game will advance to host Arsenal in the fourth round, with ties due to take place on the weekend of 23/24 January. .
